I have chosen to write about the President Elect Donald J Trump because he has an extensive business oriented background that could provide some interesting change for our country. What experience Trump lacks in politics he makes up for in his experience as a multi-million dollar real estate mogul and business man. Trumps lack of political background has been a source of controversy but it did not seem to effect him in the long run. In the early 70’s Trump became involved with a large very profitable building project that then led to his opening of the Grand Hyatt. These giant developing successes led to Trump earning the nickname of the city of Manhattans best-known developer. Trump is also well known as a celebrity thanks to his hit NBC show The Celebrity Apprentice. The NBC show is where Trump coined the term “You’re fired”, further spreading Trumps celebrity image of a Boss-man those not to be reckoned with.



America has spoken and they believed that Trump is fit to be president. Trump is believed to be qualified for president because of his demonstrated knowledge in finance and how to build a successful company. In a way the United States can be looked at as a company with the president as the owner. The more successes of a Company America is the more revenue, the more job, the more growth and security America has. Trump is all about getting something and making the most of it. Receiving a loan and making the most about of money possible through investments. So the though behind electing Donald Trump as president is the hope of Trump taking American and helping it be the best America possible, just as he has done with his various businesses. When getting to know Trump and his campaign I feel it is important to understand Trumps mannerisms and to acquire a tolerance for his lack of political correctness. When Trump speaks he presents good arguments and has good points in my opinion. However, Trumps lack of eloquent public speaking abilities, which makes some question his ability to be presidential. Once American’s learn that Trump has a simple way of speaking and that his lack of filter comes from his passion for his position will help people understand him better. For those struggling with Trump’s lack of eloquent rhetoric it should be considered that this lack of guarded speech means more honesty.  There will be a more open and honest relationship between the white house and the people, so no more reading between the lines, Trump will lay it out plain and simple for us.

A downfall of President Donald Trump is his negative public image. Trump’s lack of filter paired with negative comments about women has created a world-win of negative opinions of Trump. The public views Trump as a sexist man, born with a silver spoon, that lacks sensitivity for some human rights. Trump’s campaign has worked hard to emphasize the facts that Trump is businessman. Labeling him as such creates reasoning for his blunt way of speaking and lack of sensitivity. To repair Trump’s self image I think he needs to be more open and emotional. Right now we see a rigid and tough businessman who says offensive remarks but if he were to soften up I think we could see a side of him that is a lot more understanding and compassionate. In this stance I think it would be extremely beneficial for him to take a stand for women and the LQBTQ community. These groups have been offended the most through out Trumps presidency and a little LTC could go along way. Trump has softened up slightly with his affection to his children, but if Trump could try a little harder to voice what he’s passionate about with aside from business and money, I think he would become a more admirable leader.
